My wife Lynda and I had a tree in our yard that was beautiful and offered much shade from the scorching summer sun. At certain times of the day, our deck was almost completely shaded. However, last summer I had to remove it completely because a storm of heavy rain and severe winds broke it near the base of its trunk. Temporary road closure for Annual Line Dance on London Bridge

LAKE HAVASU CITY – This Sunday, February 23, the London Bridge is closed to through traffic from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., for the Havasu Community Health Foundation’s Annual Line Dance on the London Bridge special event. Beginning at 2:15 p.m., the Lake Havasu City Police Department clears the London Bridge of pedestrians and traffic. Canadian man killed in motorcycle crash

MOHAVE VALLEY – Excessive speed is a suspected factor in a fatal motorcycle accident that remains under investigation in Mohave Valley. The Mohave County Sheriff’s office responded at 11:10 a.m. on Friday, February 14 to the accident in the area of milepost 22 on the Oatman Highway. “Upon arrival, a single male subject was located unresponsive on scene with no passengers,” said sheriff’s spokeswoman Anita Mortensen. BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City, Mohave County probation, sanitation contractor Republic Services and citizens will partner in a community cleanup organized by a homeless task force. The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) says taxpayers need to be mindful when selecting their tax preparers this tax season, because they are ultimately responsible for what is filed, regardless of who prepared the return.
