Starting Thursday, April 16, Eastern St. will be closed in two sections; the first section will be closest to Interstate 40, with the second section being closed at Broudy Drive. MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (April 15, 2020) – The Mohave County Health Department MCDPH-Nursing was notified this morning of one new positive COVID-19 case in the Kingman service area. The individual is in the 45-54 year old age range, in isolation and recovering at home. The contact investigation has been initiated by our public health nurses and it has been determined that this case is not epi-liked to another confirmed case nor is it travel-related. MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (April 15, 2020) – The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified today of a positive COVID-19 case in the Lake Havasu City service area. The individual, is in the 65+ age range, and is currently hospitalized. Nurses will initiate the contact investigation soon; therefore, at this time it cannot be determined if this case is epidemiologically-linked to another case or travel-related. BULLHEAD CITY – For the second time in a week, a local school board will hold its monthly meeting via videoconferencing. Thursday night’s governing board meeting of the Bullhead City Elementary School District will be conducted by videoconference due to COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions.
