Asphalt Repairs on Eastern

-Closures Later this Week- KINGMAN – The City of Kingman will be completing asphalt repairs on sections of Eastern Street. Starting Thursday, April 16, Eastern St. will be closed in two sections; the first section will be closest to Interstate 40, with the second section being closed at Broudy Drive. MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (April 15, 2020) – The Mohave County Health Department MCDPH-Nursing was notified this morning of one new positive COVID-19 case in the Kingman service area. The individual is in the 45-54 year old age range, in isolation and recovering at home. The contact investigation has been initiated by our public health nurses and it has been determined that this case is not epi-liked to another confirmed case nor is it travel-related. MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (April 15, 2020) – The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified today of a positive COVID-19 case in the Lake Havasu City service area. The individual, is in the 65+ age range, and is currently hospitalized. BHC school board meeting to be livestreamed; public comments should be submitted

BULLHEAD CITY – For the second time in a week, a local school board will hold its monthly meeting via videoconferencing.  Thursday night’s governing board meeting of the Bullhead City Elementary School District will be conducted by videoconference due to COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions.  The April 16 meeting will be livestreamed on YouTube and accessible to the public.  Call to the public comments will be accepted in advance. State To Partner With University Of Arizona On 250,000 Tests PHOENIX⁠ — Governor Doug Ducey announced today, April 14, a partnership between the state of Arizona and the University of Arizona to provide antibody tests for 250,000 health care professionals and first responders who are on the frontlines in the battle against COVID-19.  The University of Arizona will administer the antibody tests to check for antibodies through an individual’s blood sample to determine if they were exposed to COVID-19, had the virus and recovered.
