City Encourages Community to “Light it Blue”

-Free Ribbons Available at Main City Complex- KINGMAN, Ariz. –The City of Kingman is encouraging the community to support the statewide “Light Arizona Blue” (#LightAZBlue) initiative, by giving away free blue ribbons, of varying sizes, to the first140 people who visit the city complex. MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (April 27, 2020) The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of four positive COVID cases in Mohave County. The contact investigations have been initiated with each case. The first case is an individual in the Lake Havasu City service area, in the 55-64 age range, who is hospitalized.  The person is not a travel-related case or epidemiologically linked to another confirmed case. BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. –Mohave Electric Cooperative has announced that due to COVID-19 it is postponing the district and annual meetings previously scheduled for June. Dolan Springs fire chief arrested, charged with domestic violence

DOLAN SPRINGS – A tiny fire district headquartered in the rural community of Dolan Springs is under new leadership while its fire chief has been suspended following his arrest. It was announced late Monday morning that firefighter/paramedic Steve Winn is serving as acting Chief of the Lake Mohave Ranchos Fire District (LMRFD). Chief Timothy Dean Bonnee, 40, Kingman, was placed on paid administrative last Friday by virtue of a 4-0 vote during an emergency meeting of the LMRFD governing board.Bonnee was arrested last Thursday for misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct charges.
