Two BHC fires under investigation

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City Fire Department personnel handled two incidents in the same hour on Monday, May 25. Units first responded at 9:25 p.m. to a brush fire behind the Anderson Automotive Field House. Fire Department information officer Lori Viles said the property was not threatened. She said no one was injured in the fire that scorched about 3 acres of brush. KINGMAN – Contractors will be working from now until 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, for street and drainage improvements for a private office renovation. CK Concrete is doing the work and Jim Hubka is the main contact at at (928) 279-1100 cell or 928-715-1500 office. Work is causing the contractors to close Robinson Avenue at the Stockton Hill Road intersection, as well as place some lane restrictions along Stockton Hill Rd., as well. Meth dealer is prison bound

BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City man who repeatedly sold methamphetamine to a civilian confidential informant (CI) entered a plea agreement in Mohave County Superior Court on Tuesday, March 19. Terms of the deal for Stephen Martin, 60, require Mohave County Superior Court Judge Rick Lambert to order a 16-year prison term at a June 18 sentencing hearing. The agreement dismisses a 2018 theft of means of transportation case and a 2019 case involving weapon and drug paraphernalia charges.
