LAKE HAVASU CITY – Officers used non-lethal means to arrest a combative attempted homicide suspect in Lake Havasu City. An anonymous tip Friday afternoon put authorities on the trail of Gary Edwin Pappilli, 63. MOHAVE COUNTY – Some gyms, bars, movie theaters and water related business enterprises shuttered by Governor Doug Ducey’s COVID-19 executive orders can apply to reopen in Mohave County. Department of Public Health Director Denise Burley said that became possible last Thursday morning when the Arizona Department of Health Services reported that Mohave County has enjoyed a two week stretch of less than 10% case positivity. LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s office seeks help from the public in locating a man wanted for an attempted murder in Lake Havasu City. Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said 63-year-old Gary Pappilli allegedly stabbed another man during an early Thursday evening altercation at a home in the 2000 block of Quartzite Pl. The 77-year-old victim required medical attention for multiple stab wounds. Citizens are advised to avoid contact with Pappilli who is considered to be dangerous.
