MOHAVE COUNTY – The FBI and Mohave County Sheriff’s office continue looking for the suspect wanted for a murder that occurred more than 15 years ago in Fort Mohave. A reward of up to $10,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest of Gerardo Mendoza, 32, Oceanside, California. KINGMAN – After starting the Kingman Area Literacy Program (KALP) seven years ago, director Chris Meisenheimer is retiring. “I started this program because teaching people to read is one of the best ways to lift them out of poverty,” said Meisenheimer. “Literacy’s value cannot be underestimated.” KALP tutors provide free tutoring to people of all ages, abilities and needs.
