KINGMAN – An elderly Fort Mohave man who harmed his disabled daughter was released from jail Thursday following his sentencing hearing in Mohave County Superior Court. Dean Peters, 72, was sentenced to 72 days in jail and credited with having spent that many days in custody. Peters was arrested on June 25 after an incident in the 5900 block of S. KINGMAN – An observant off-duty officer is credited with spotting a suspected drug deal going down in a commercial parking lot and calling it in Tuesday, Sept. 3. Kingman Police Department officers responded at 9:15 a.m. to the 3400 block of Stockton Hill Road where they attempted to make contact with a man in a parked car. KINGMAN – Kingman police say a woman was hurt and a man was arrested after they engaged in a domestic dispute where they reside together in the 600 block of Market Street. Officers responded to a reported stabbing on the property at 6:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3. Deputy Police Chief Rusty Cooper said the 60-year-old woman was struck in the head by a fan and stabbed in the arm by a screwdriver.
