Romo jailed following domestic dispute

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A Lake Havasu City man faces prosecution for allegedly beating a woman earlier this month. The victim told police the argument started at a bar and continued at the suspect’s home on September 10. Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute and altercation at a home on Bluewater Drive. A police report said arriving officers witnessed Marcus Romo, 31, beating the victim inside the home. Pratt ordered to three years for drug binge

KINGMAN – A three-year prison term was ordered Monday for a Bullhead City man who was found slumped over in a vehicle during a drug binge. Christopher Pratt, 25, was discovered unresponsive in a running vehicle on Riviera Boulevard on July 3. Officers reportedly found about three grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle along with usable quantities of heroin and marijuana, as well as some drug paraphernalia. Pratt pleaded guilty to an attempted sale of dangerous drug charge in exchange for dismissal of other drug related counts. LAKE HAVASU CITY – On Monday, Sept. 16, at approximately 10:10 p.m., several 911 calls were placed about a boat crash near Site 5 on Lake Havasu. Deputies from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Division of Boating Safety, along with officers from the Lake Havasu City Police Department, the Lake Havasu City Fire Department, River Medical Ambulances, and a trooper from the Arizona Department of Public Safety, responded to the scene. KINGMAN – A Bullhead City man faces a five- to 10-year prison term following his conviction for possession of dangerous drugs for sale. A Mohave County Superior Court jury returned a guilty verdict Tuesday afternoon in the one-day trial of Christopher Cooper, 48. McIntire to accept plea rather than face up to 70 years in prison

KINGMAN – A Kingman man who faced as many as 70 years in prison for his alleged abuse of his son and a niece decided to accept a plea agreement following a Tuesday settlement conference. The proposed plea agreement for Kenneth McIntire, 30, is scheduled to be entered September 26. A school resource officer began investigating after learning a 13-year-old boy suffered lower body injuries.
