John Deere, tools stolen from bus barn

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City Police arrested three people for stealing UTV’s out of the High School’s bus barn. On Friday, April 3, Mohave High School reported a burglary into the bus barn where a John Deere Gator and several tools were stolen. On April 7, the school reported another forced break-in where a Gator and a Club Car were stolen. Mohave County COVID-19 update

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County officials reported three more positive coronavirus cases Wednesday, and two Thursday, bringing the county total to 28. The latest two cases are from the Kingman area. County Communications Director Roger Galloway said a second death of an elderly person (65+) with underlying chronic health conditions has occurred in Lake Havasu City. MOHAVE COUNTY – Havasu Regional Medical Center has informed the Mohave County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) of the death of an elderly person (65+) with underlying chronic health conditions. This is the second COVID-19-related death in Mohave County. The first was also an elderly person hospitalized with underlying chronic health conditions in Lake Havasu City. Sexual predator takes plea; five years in prison, 10 years on probation

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A five-year prison term was ordered Monday for a Lake Havasu City man who was caught in an undercover investigation targeting adults seeking sex with underage girls. The punishment Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle imposed for Dean Tarnow, 46, was stipulated in a plea agreement. The deal convicting Tarnow of a reduced charge of attempted sexual conduct with a minor and to luring a minor under the age of 15 for sexual exploitation requires Tarnow to serve ten year’s probation once released from prison. Latest county virus victim from Bullhead City

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Department of Public Health (MCDPH)-Nursing was notified this morning, April 8, of a positive COVID-19 case in the Bullhead City service area. The individual, is an adult in the 65 & older age range and is currently hospitalized. MCDPH nurses will begin the contact investigation as soon as possible. It has yet to be determined if the case is travel-related, epidemiologically-linked to another identified case, or the result of community spread.
