MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Board of Supervisors unanimously passed a motion Thursday afternoon, May 7, recommending the county open up according to CDC guidelines on Monday, May 11.  This excludes three separate authorities within the county – the libraries, the courts, and the offices of elected officials, but, it was recommended that all county entities follow through on the same date. MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office would like to inform the community of a scam that has increased in popularity recently. Over the course of six weeks, they have received four calls of citizens being scammed out of money after attempting to purchase an animal over the internet. Three of these scams have taken place in the last two weeks. The victims all claim they attempted to purchase a pet (two dog incidents and two cat incidents) on various pet adoption websites across the country.
