KINGMAN – A new Cerbat Justice of the Peace could be appointed next Monday, five days after the retirement of the Honorable John Taylor. A screening panel that reviewed nine applications and conducted interviews with four finalists has recommended that either of two candidates be appointed. They include retired Mohave County Sheriff’s sergeant Rob McEuen and deputy Mohave County attorney David Wayt. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County Superior Court is pleased to announce that eFiling will be available for subsequent filing in Domestic Relations, Probate, and Guardianship/Conservatorship cases beginning April 5.  The State of Arizona ramped up eFiling efforts in response to the COVID pandemic last year to reduce the amount of in-person traffic at the Courthouses across the state.  For information on the eFiling system and to register and train for its use, you can visit https://www.azcourts.gov/efilinginformation/eFileAZ. KINGMAN – City of Kingman Information Technology (IT) team members are slowly beginning to bring certain government operations back online. At this time Kingman IT members are visiting the city’s more than 20 work sites within the city, and getting email, internet access, and some specialized programs up and running. Some work functions, specialized software, files, etc. are still not accessible to most departments,  to ensure a safe transition to being fully functional. KINGMAN – Due to the recent cyber-attack on the City of Kingman government operations, the March 9, Planning & Zoning Commission meeting and the March 10 Board of Adjustment meeting have been cancelled.
