MOHAVE COUNTY – Musical chairs will be employed during next Monday’s Board of Supervisors meeting as Mohave County officials try to maintain proper social distancing while keeping local government functioning. Deputy county attorney Ryan Esplin said only handfuls of citizens will be allowed to enter the auditorium where the Board conducts its meeting inside the Administration building in downtown Kingman. Customers encouraged to use online, phone and mail services PHOENIX — To protect the health and safety of customers and employees while continuing to provide services and support, the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) has temporarily modified in-person customer service. Effective April 1, 2020, front lobbies at AZGFD offices will be closed to in-person transactions except those made by appointment. Appointments can be made by calling (602) 942-3000 (select item 4 if you wish to be connected to one of our regional offices in Pinetop, Flagstaff, Kingman, Yuma, Tucson or Mesa rather than the Phoenix headquarters office). Governor Ducey has asked Arizonans to limit their time away from their residences, but if people need to leave their homes, they practice physical distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19. Bullhead schools close public offices

BULLHEAD CITY/MOHAVE VALLEY – The Bullhead City Elementary and Colorado River Union School Districts have announced temporary office closures as part of Gov. Doug Ducey’s stay-at-home executive order. Effective Wednesday, April 1, the school district offices on Hancock Road and the individual campus offices will be temporarily closed to the public at all pre-K, elementary, middle, junior high and high schools. Office staff at each location will be working in socially-distanced environments and will be able to assist parents and students by either phone or email.
