Republican district office to re-open

KINGMAN – On Monday, May 11th, the Mohave County Republican Party’s District 1 office will re-open their office at 2116 Stockton Hill Rd, Suite B.

Even though political activity is Constitutionally protected as “essential” free speech, the office was closed for several weeks.  With restrictions originally issued by Governor Ducey, a number of people were concerned with the Coronavirus, choosing to shelter in place.

Office hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.  Trump campaign signs, hats, flags and shirts are available for purchase at the office.  Further, information about the upcoming elections, both the primary and general, is available.  People can register to vote, update their registration, including selecting to be on the Permanent Early Voting List (PEVL).

During the shutdown, District Office installed their new sign for people to find the location.  It gives the phone number and lights up at night.

District 1, which extends from Wikieup to Colorado City and from the Black Mountains to the Yavapai County Line, is the largest of three Mohave County Districts, both area and population.  With the City Council and the two competitive Supervisor District races, District 1 will be a hotbed of activity.
