Search & Rescue recover body, injured hiker

recovered a body in one location and rescued a woman who fell into a well in recent days. Crews responded at about 5 p.m. Friday after hikers summoned help to an area near Craggy Wash north of Lake Havasu City. “They were hiking near a mountain peak and believed there was someone who needed help or may have been deceased, but could not get close enough to make that determination,” an S&R Facebook post said. Animals survive house fire

BULLHEAD CITY – On October 23, at approximately 11:39 a.m., Bullhead City Fire crews were dispatched to a reported structure fire on the 500 block of Mead Lane. Upon arrival, a single-story residence with two additions were fully involved. After confirming that all of the occupants had safely evacuated, the home crews began an aggressive fire attack and were able to keep the blaze contained to the primary structure. However, a neighboring home did sustain minimal damage to the exterior. Firefighters battled the blaze for approximately an hour and a half before the fire was called under control.   No injuries…
