Check in is a 5 p.m. with the dinner and meeting beginning at 6 p.m.  Cost is $25 check or cash at the door. Please RSVP by noon on Friday, November 3 to Pam Ford at 928-486-4033. LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City Transit is changing the services it provides to best serve the public in Lake Havasu City. The Direct and Flex (ADA users) services are widely popular, with almost 20,000 riders in the last 12 months. This service allows the user to request a ride through an app or by phone call. The service costs the user $3 or $5, depending on the length of the ride.  Based on ridership, the fixed-route system has not met the expectations of Lake Havasu City Transit and a change is needed. LAKE HAVASU CITY – The San Gabriel Fire Valley Department (SGVDF), is bringing firefighter cancer awareness to Lake Havasu City with their Fire Hogs Motorcycle Club Don Shawver Memorial Ride (SGVDF) on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 27 and 28. Don Shawver was a retired firefighter with the Arcadia Fire Department. Shawver passed away due to job-related cancer.  He had a love of motorcycles and the Shawver family along with the San Gabriel Valley Fire Hogs, came together to put together a memorial ride.    SGVDF Fire Hogs MC is made up of fire departments in the San Gabriel Valley area. Their members bring enjoyment…

CHLORIDE – Every year Arizona’s oldest inhabited silver mining community honors the memory of the hard rock miners who came to Chloride looking for their share of silver and gold in the 1860’s.
