Smith has announced USDA has invested $1.6 million in Wecom’s high-speed broadband infrastructure project. “Through USDA’s ReConnect Program, more than 1,400 Arizonians living in rural communities will get access to the latest broadband technology that will connect them to opportunities in education, health care and economic development…” Smith said. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County Supervisors approved rezoning for a commercial endeavor in Oatman and handled a number of other items during a Monday Board meeting that stretched almost 3.5 hours. A number of Oatman merchants oppose New Mexico businessman Tim McCarthy’s plan to offer western flavored activity just outside the historic mining town.
