MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Monday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 70 new confirmed COVID-19 cases. There are also five deaths from previously reported cases. Three are from the Lake Havasu City service area. One was in the 50-59 year age range; one was 60-69; one was 80-89. County sees slight slowdown in COVID-19 cases; face masks continue to be recommended

MOHAVE COUNTY – Recent weeks of sharp increases in COVID-19 cases in Mohave County slightly subsided last week. Department of Public Health Director Denise Burley told the Board of Supervisors Monday that she hopes the downward trend continues. “We can be happy to say that we’ve seen a decrease from previous weeks for the first time in months. That’s not cause for celebration, but it is progress for sure,” Burley said. “We still had 377 cases reported out last week, which is still among the highest four weeks since the pandemic started.” Burley reported that 962 people have recovered from…

City of Kingman launches recovery grant programs

KINGMAN – With the City of Kingman’s Council approved new fiscal year budget underway, exciting initiatives were approved to help our local business community recover during the recent economic downturn. Among the budgeted items are three fast-tracked programs launched in July of 2020; the Façade Improvement Program, the Parklet/Pedlet Incentive Program with $90,000 in combined funds, and $10,000 for a Kingman Tourism Facebook Marketing Grant. MOHAVE COUNTY –  Late Sunday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 30 new confirmed COVID-19 cases. There is one new confirmed death in the Kingman service area, a 90+ person from a previously reported case. Of the 30 new cases, 15 are in the Bullhead City service area.
