MOHAVE COUNTY – Sheriff Doug Schuster was a big winner in Tuesday’s contested Mohave County primary election races. The re-election seeking incumbent grabbed 79% of the vote to turn back Mike Gannuscio’s challenge in the republican primary. Unofficial returns show Schuster (23,624) leading Gannuscio (6,222) by 17,402 votes. Travis Lingenfelter is leading Jim Hamersley by 274 votes in the District 1 supervisor’s republican primary. MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Monday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified today of 12 new confirmed COVID-19 cases. There are also three deaths from previously reported cases. Two of the deaths are in the Bullhead City service area.  One is 70-79 and one is 80-89. The third death is an 80-89 person in the Lake Havasu City service area. Ten of the 12 new confirmed cases are in the Bullhead City area. All ten remain under investigation.
