Second bridge feasibility discussed at council

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Buzz of the second bridge feasibility study was discussed at Lake Havasu’s city council meeting last week. The next steps of this project will include the following plans;  Stakeholders will be holding a meeting in early to late of June along with a public open house in that same time period.  Coordinating with state parks on this plan is also in the works.  However, the final study of this will be taking place this June.  A motion was passed by council members for the Havasu Foothills Estates development to include Tract 2390.   This recommendation was made this past…

KINGMAN – May 20th kicks off the two-week Arizona Buckle Up Arizona Enforcement campaign. Mohave Community College Names New Vice President of Administrative Services

MOHAVE COUNTY – Following a nationwide search, Mohave Community College (MCC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Joline Pruitt as the new Vice President of Administrative Services, effective July 1, 2024. Pruitt will succeed Jennie Dixon, a Kingman native and longtime MCC employee, who is retiring after years of dedicated service to the college. On Thursday, May 9, the Kingman Police Department promoted two sergeants to the rank of Lieutenant. Lieutenant Nick Schmitz, who has over 12 years of law enforcement experience will immediately assume the role of Patrol Lieutenant. Lieutenant Jason Schmitz, who has over 14 years of law enforcement experience will assume the role of MAGNET Task Force Commander in the near future.
