Arizona Route 66 license plate supports preservation

Kingman, AZ – It should not take long for drivers in Arizona to spot the black and white Route 66 license plate as the eye catching specialty plate has achieved great success adorning a recorded 13,833 vehicles. Available since late 2016, the design and approval process for the specialty plate was lengthy and expensive. Requirements for an Arizona specialty plate include a $32,000 contribution, an organizational history of at least 30 years, and allocated monies to a charitable organization with 501 (c)(3) status. Big Industrial, LLC., a National Industrial Real Estate Investment Firm has acquired the 620,000 sq. ft. Knauf Insulation Facility located in the Kingman Airport Industrial Park and will offer it for lease to regional and national firms. Dan Smith, SIOR, said, “We have been invested in the Kingman area for nearly 20 years so when this property became available it made strategic sense to acquire, upgrade and offer it to the manufacturing/warehousing community for regional projects considering an alternative southern California option in Arizona.”

KRMC building out HMMC floor for primary family health care

Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) has three multi-million dollar building projects underway all at once. Many are aware that the largest employer in Mohave County is expanding its Emergency Department and its Cardiovascular Center at its main campus, but less visible to the public is a build out campaign at KRMC’s Hualapai Mountain Medical Campus (HMMC). Citizens asked for comments regarding Court Commissioner position

Citizens have a one week window to provide comment regarding the two attorneys who are selected finalists for the new full time Mohave County Court Commissioner position. Superior Court administrator Kip Anderson announced Monday that the job contenders are local attorneys Megan McCoy and Ryan Esplin. Esplin heads up the Civil Division of the county attorney’s office while McCoy has prosecuted criminal cases for the office for nearly 13 years.
