BULLHEAD CITY – Effective Monday, August 31, all residential recycling is discontinued throughout the City of Bullhead, including the large bins located at City Hall. Bullhead City trash service is going from two days to one day. Residents trash collection bills will be reduced from $15.54 per month to $14.95, which is one of the lowest in the region. Residents are encouraged to go to www.bullheadcity.com  and review the new service maps to familiarize themselves with their new trash service day. KINGMAN – The Bureau of Land Management reports 91% containment of the Ridge Fire that has been held to just under 3,100 acres in the Hualapai Mountains. About 175 personnel remain on the fire, securing containment lines and stamping out hotspots. Mop up operations will continue with full containment expected next Tuesday.
