LAKE HAVASU CITY – It’s election time in Lake Havasu. Three seats will need to be filled for the primary election this August. These seats are currently filled with council members Vice Mayor Cameron Moses, Nancy Campbell, and David Lane.  Board members voted and passed new runway safety area improvements for the Lake Havasu Municipal Airport. KINGMAN – Lomanco plans to more than double its footprint at the Kingman Airport Industrial Park. The Jacksonville, Arkansas-based company has been operating at the park for four decades. “We’re the oldest out of all the different manufacturing companies that are out here,” said plant manager Paul Belden. “We’ve been here the longest.” Lomanco employs 19 people, mostly in production, at its 53,000 sq. ft. MOHAVE COUNTY – At their last board meeting, the Mohave County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a letter of opposition regarding a proposed rule by the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) that would authorize the listing of “Natural Asset Companies” (NACs) as a novel investment vehicle on the New York Stock Exchange. Supervisor Buster Johnson brought the item forward for the Board’s consideration after digging deeper into what this proposed rule meant. “This rule raises many concerns, particularly for federal lands, including those in Mohave County.
