Fentanyl, meth seized in traffic stops

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City police report six arrests and significant drug seizures during separate traffic stops after Christmas. Sergeant Michael Terrinoni said officers confiscated approximately 2,100 fentanyl pills, 13 grams of fentanyl powder, 60 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a pistol on Dec. 28. MOHAVE VALLEY – Authorities have released the names of three adults who perished in a Dec. 10 house fire in Mohave Valley following positive identification by the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office. Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said the victims include Janell Norris, 53, Alexander Galvez, 54 and Meryia Loftin, 20, who was pregnant. Their bodies were found after crews extinguished the fire at the home in the 2100 block of Lone Star Dr. Mortensen said the 20-year-old man who survived the fire was hospitalized in Las Vegas for treatment of serious injuries. Children fire victims identified

BULLHEAD CITY – Authorities have released the names of the five children who died in a Dec. 16 house fire in Bullhead City. Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said the victims of the fire that destroyed a duplex on Anna Circle were positively identified by the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office. Siblings killed in the fire were Elias Jones, 2, Freya Jones, 4, Zane Jones, 5 and John Jones, 13. Their 11-year-old cousin Henry Lewis also perished in the blaze. Fromelt said the father of the four siblings went grocery and Christmas gift shopping about 2.5-hours before the 4:54 p.m. fire….
