Diamond Street on Friday, January 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The focus of this project is to create a second left-hand turn lane off of N. Robert Skankey, Unit Commander of The Kingman Young Marines, gave a powerpoint presentation at Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club’s January 12 meeting. The Kingman Young Marines is part of a national organization that promotes a healthy drug-free lifestyle in youth 8-18 years old. The program focuses on teaching leadership, teamwork and self-discipline to help youth grow up to be contributing members of society. Skankey shared the history of the group and their recent trip to the U.S. Arizona Memorial in Hawaii.
