LAKE HAVASU CITY – In an effort to maintain the water distribution system, Lake Havasu City Water Division announces the closure of Swanson Ave. from Magnolia Dr. to Capri Blvd. The roadway will be closed to through traffic on Swanson Ave. from 9:00 pm Sunday, January 21, 2024, until 6:00 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2024, subject to weather and other conditions. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes, allow themselves extra travel time and follow all construction signage.

Rt 66 Motel renovation project underway

KINGMAN – Catholic Charities of Arizona has told inquiring city officials that the Route 66 Motel it purchased in Kingman is not for sale. And the organization has indicated it will continue its campaign to renovate the dilapidated property for a transitional housing project operation.
