Robert Skankey, Unit Commander of The Kingman Young Marines, gave a powerpoint presentation at Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club’s January 12 meeting. The Kingman Young Marines is part of a national organization that promotes a healthy drug-free lifestyle in youth 8-18 years old. The program focuses on teaching leadership, teamwork and self-discipline to help youth grow up to be contributing members of society. Skankey shared the history of the group and their recent trip to the U.S. Arizona Memorial in Hawaii. BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Municipal Pool deck is scheduled to receive substantial new maintenance for the first time since the pool was opened in 1992.
