MCC nursing students and health profession programs donating assistance and supplies to local hospitals

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College students and employees are doing their part to help local health institutions in need of medical supplies during the Coronavirus pandemic. MCC’s Allied Health and Nursing programs have donated medical materials to assist local hospitals during the pandemic and nursing students are volunteering to help patients at hospitals in Kingman, Bullhead City, Fort Mohave and Lake Havasu City. Kingman Area Regional Transit (KART) is going fare free

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman is implementing free fares for the Kingman Area Regional Transit (KART), effective immediately, until further notice. KART will not be charging a fare to ride the bus, and anyone who has already purchased a monthly pass for the month of April will be able to exchange it for a new pass, when regular fare collection resumes. The Mohave County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) has confirmed the 9th positive case of COVID-19 in the Bullhead City service area. The individual, an adult, is being treated in the hospital under strict isolation protocols.
