Mohave County Probation Officer Sara Colbert selected as Supervisor of the Year

MOHAVE COUNTY – Deputy Probation Officer Senior Sara Colbert has been selected by the Arizona Chief Probation Officers’ Association as the winner of the Supervisor of the Year Award.  Colbert was selected from probation supervisor nominees representing all counties across the State of Arizona.  Colbert currently serves as the Juvenile Treatment Supervisor and has been instrumental in developing Project AIM (evening reporting center), influential on the Juvenile Specialty Courts, in addition to managing juvenile treatment services and budget.  Colbert has worked diligently over the past year to develop conference presentations for the American Probation and Parole Association and National Council…

First positive COVID-19 case at Mohave County Jail

KINGMAN – An inmate of the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility tested positive on Tuesday for COVID-19. The inmate, currently housed in medical isolation at the jail, has shown no signs or symptoms of the virus and will continue to be monitored and provided treatment as may be necessary. KINGMAN – Contractors will be working from now until 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, for street and drainage improvements for a private office renovation. CK Concrete is doing the work and Jim Hubka is the main contact at at (928) 279-1100 cell or 928-715-1500 office. Work is causing the contractors to close Robinson Avenue at the Stockton Hill Road intersection, as well as place some lane restrictions along Stockton Hill Rd., as well. COVID-19 update: Three deaths today

MOHAVE COUNTY – Late this afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of four new confirmed COVID-19 cases and three deaths. Two of the deaths are previously reported cases in the Kingman area. One of them is an individual who is in the 50-59 year age range and the other is a 70-79 person.  The third death is a 70-79 year age range individual in the Lake Havasu area.
