Moss Mine dispute settled

BULLHEAD CITY – The company that operates the Moss Mine outside Bullhead City has agreed to pay a former contractor to resolve a legal dispute. The Northern Vertex Mining Corp. has announced its Golden Vertex Corp. subsidiary will pay $250,000 to M.C. Donegan LLC, a firm that previously provided drilling and blasting services at the gold and silver mine. M.C. KRMC completes Phase One for ED

KINGMAN – Phase one of the emergency department expansion project has been completed at Kingman Regional Medical Center. The city issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for that portion of the project about mid-December. Project manager Randy Cook says expected state health care regulatory approvals should see the Stockton Hill Road access to the hospital reopen in February. Cook said the smaller scale phase two emergency department project should be completed by early spring.

Kirby Family and KRMC combine efforts to help the community

KINGMAN – The community comes out to help the community during the holidays again. The Kirby family (in a partnership with the Kingman Regional Medical Center Foundation) and nearly 100 volunteers from throughout the Kingman area helped feed the hungry, lonely or anyone who needed a bite to eat on Christmas Day. On Thanksgiving Day, John Kirby, working with the KRMC kitchen staff, prepared nearly 200 meals pre-cooked and prepackaged meals for an assortment of residents and families in the Kingman area including Golden Valley and Dolan Springs.
