Latoski receives National Urban Engineer of the Year award

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County Public Works Director Steven Latoski has received the prestigious National Association of County Engineers Award (NACE) as its 2021 Urban County Engineer of the Year.  He came out on top nationally representing Arizona for counties with populations greater than 100,000. Kingman benefits from volunteers, non profits

Dear Editor, April 18 through 23 was Week of Caring in Kingman.  Several groups volunteered for special projects and general area cleanup.  Some of these special projects included building wheel chair ramps using lumber donated by Home Depot, passing out homeless kits, planting a garden, and so much more. Supervisors address fire, COVID-19

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County efforts to battle a wildfire and COVID-19 were updated during Monday’s Mohave County Board of Supervisors meeting in Kingman. Dist. 2 Sup. Hildy Angius praised agencies and firefighters for what she called a “phenomenal job” protecting people and property from the Flag Fire that scorched nearly 1,300-acres in the Hualapai Mountains southeast of Kingman. The fire that ignited on April 25 forced the evacuation of 200 homes in the community of Pine Lake and the closures of the county operated park and the private lodge within the park.
