KINGMAN – The Kingman City Council voted to increase the solid waste rates during the April 20, Kingman City Council Meeting. Residential monthly charges for a single-family home, with two solid waste pickups weekly, are increasing from $19.78 to $20.37. Commercial service rates will increase based on the container size and frequency of pickup; rate information can be viewed on the city’s website: https://www.cityofkingman.gov/government/departments/finance/utility-billing/sanitation-fees. Extra trash hauls for residential customers will increase from $15.00 to $25.75 per load, and extra trash hauls for commercial customers will discontinue. MOHAVE COUNTY – Sheriff Doug Schuster is pleased to announce that the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office has received funding from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety to purchase an all-terrain side-by-side vehicle.
