October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Havasu Community Health Foundation (HCHF) will be celebrating with their 25th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk.  In the U.S., this yearly event has also been referred to as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM). NBCAM was created in 1985 in collaboration with the American Cancer Society and the pharmaceutical division with Imperial Chemical Industries.  They are now affiliated with AstraZeneca who distributes many anti-breast cancer medications. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College Radiologic Technology program 2023 graduates have all passed their national board exams on their first attempt. Having a 100% pass rate means that students in the program were very well prepared to take their exams. Council members began the meeting with the approval of abandonment of public utility drainage management.   The City Clerk’s office certified the resolution.  This was followed by a motion passed for the planned development rezoning.  The rezoning for Hilltop Community Church, 3190 McCulloch Blvd., was approved including multi-family parking standards.
