LAKE HAVASU CITY – Moose International was founded in Louisville, Kentucky in 1888 by then politician Dr. John Henry Wilson.  The original purpose was a men-only social club.   Over time, organizations began to form in Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, and Crawfordsville. The early order did not really take off. Disappointed, Dr. Wilson abandoned the order prior to the turn of the century.  It was around the 1890s when editor Albert C. Omare Feely of Lake Havasu City, has begun higher education studies at Albright College, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree as a member of the class of 2027. A graduate of Lake Havasu High School, Feely is studying Sociology: Criminology at Albright. Feely is joined by 440 first year and transfer students. Academically minded, members of the new class have taken an average of seven honors courses during high school.
