US 93 bridge improvement project completed south of Wikieup  

WIKIEUP – The Arizona Department of Transportation has completed a project to improve the pavement surface and flood protection capabilities of two bridges on US 93 south of Wikieup. The $1.8 million project involved work on the Sycamore Creek bridge at milepost 128 and the Gray Wash bridge, both of which carry traffic on northbound US 93. Patricia Mary Stipsky

Patricia Mary (Rickert) Stipsky was born at the Methodist hospital in downtown Los Angeles, California in 1937 and passed away at Kingman Regional Medical Center on February 12, 2024. She was 86 years old. Patricia (Pat) liked to deny that she was born in Kingman since her parents, Val and Hazel Rickert, traveled to Los Angeles for the birth of their only child, returning after two weeks. KINGMAN – Nic Verville got the party started years ago with a state wrestling championship for Lee Williams High School (LWHS). James Wayman followed before his brother Payton Wayman won back-to-back state championships for the Volunteers.
