MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County Flood Control District has prepared its truth in taxation information for the fiscal year 2019-2020 budget in compliance with Arizona Revised Statutes § 48-254. Mobile home destroyed in fire

Fire destroyed a single wide mobile home in Kingman on Saturday. Personnel from the Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District responded at 8:49 p.m. to the incident in the 4700 block of Powell Avenue. NACFD officials said that the home was fully involved upon arrival and that firefighters initially assumed a defensive posture to prevent spread of the fire to nearby homes. “Crews had the fire knocked down in about seven minutes with extensive mop up and overhaul needed,” a news release stated. “Residents had vacated the property prior to Fire Department arrival.
