BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City has proclaimed its 4th Annual Senior Games a big success. A record number of competitors age 50 and above participated in the week-long games that ended Sunday, January 19. “Last year we had 1,100 athletes. This year we had over 1,700,” Human Services Director Jeff Tipton said. “So we had the games grow by 49%. Our goal this next year is to eclipse 2,500.” This year’s games featured 13 events. 82 teams competed in softball. KINGMAN – The Kathryn Heidenreich Adult Center (KHAC) monthly movie night will be held Friday, Feb. 28 beginning at 6 p.m. This month’s featured movie will be Key Largo from 1948, feature Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall and Edward Robinson. Steven Conn will provide historical and behind the scenes commentary before the movie starts. Family and friends are welcome; popcorn and snacks will be available.
