KINGMAN – During the City Council meeting March 3, Kingman Mayor Jen Miles will recognize the student winners of the Census 2020 essay and poster contests. Every month, it takes about 1,250 blood donors to save the lives of kids in Arizona’s two largest children’s hospitals. Blood donors save kids like 5-year-old Nathan who has required more than 80 blood transfusions. The Arizona toddler was born with a rare disorder that causes his red blood cells to rapidly break apart.
