Kingman elections: Miles will run unopposed

KINGMAN – Kingman Mayor Jen Miles is unopposed for re-election. No one but Miles submitted nominating petitions to attempt to qualify their candidacy for Mayor by Monday’s filing deadline. More than a dozen residents who picked up campaign packets to possibly run for Mayor or Council seats did not submit nominating petitions, dramatically reducing what could have been a large field of candidates. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County Manager Mike Hendrix drew praise when his retirement-related resignation was approved during Monday’s Board of Supervisors meeting. KRMC asks the public to not bring children to the ER unless they need care

KINGMAN – To limit the spread of COVID-19 in our community, KRMC has implemented strict visitor restrictions―including at the KRMC emergency room (ER). At this time, children under 12 who are not patients are restricted from entering the ER. Please do not bring children to the ER unless they need emergency medical care. Children who are not needing medical care cannot enter the facility. With visitor restrictions, KRMC has no way to accommodate unattended children while their parent or caregiver is receiving medical attention.
