New order provides “Good Samaritan” protections to frontline Workers responding to COVID-19 emergency

Governor Doug Ducey has issued an Executive Order to help boost medical staffing levels and provide certainty and liability protections to health care professionals serving on the front lines. Ghost town residents get food relief

CHLORIDE – Desert Wonder Tours partnered with the Salvation Army, Sonoran Prevention Works and volunteers to distribute 57 food boxes to Chloride, a small mining ghost town. Chloride’s citizens have been without food bank services for weeks with the added loss of the lone store in the town which has been shut down due to shortages. County to procure masks for hospitals, first responders

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Department of Public Health in conjunction with the Mohave County Department of Procurement is working on procuring at least a half a million 3-ply surgical face masks that will be distributed to local hospitals and first responders.  According to Supervisor Buster Johnson, due to the shortage of personal protection equipment (PPE), having the County secure the order will save money for all parties involved and hopefully guarantee the shipment.  “Our Procurement Department identified a vendor that can provide the surgical masks with the quickest turn around; however, in order to make the purchase we…

Tisdale charged with theft, drug possession

KINGMAN – Kingman Police recovered a stolen vehicle Thursday, April 8. Officers had responded to a residence in the 4900 block of Scotty Dr. regarding a stolen vehicle being on the property.  Marty Brandon Tisdale, 39, of Kingman was observed fleeing on foot, and a subsequent foot chase ensued. Tisdale was taken into custody in the back yard of a nearby residence. Tisdale was found to be in possession of heroin, methamphetamine and the associated drug paraphernalia.
