KINGMAN – The City of Kingman would like to invite residents to help us raise the American and POW/MIA flags at Veteran’s Memorial Park next to Locomotive Park. The event will take place Monday, June 8, at 11:00 a.m. Members of the Marine Corps League, the Young Marines, the Vietnam Veterans of America, and other local groups will be in attendance to help the city raise the flags. LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Police Department is aware of the upcoming protest taking place in the community and has been in contact with the event organizer.  The protest is planned for Saturday June 6 from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Lake Havasu Ave at McCulloch Blvd. N.   The organizer of the event is a Lake Havasu City resident and has provided information to the city about the planned peaceful protest. KINGMAN – Kingman Junior Rodeo Association (KJRA) is having roping practice at the Mohave County Fairgrounds on June 4 and 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. Events included are breakaway and team roping. Cost is $15 for members and $25 for non-members.
