MOHAVE COUNTY – Already a longtime fixture at Bullhead City council meetings, the irascible and entertaining Scottie McClure has become a regular attendee of Mohave County Board of Supervisors meetings in Kingman in recent months. McClure made clear Monday, Jan. 4 that he does not like one of the changes new Chairman Buster Johnson has instituted for Board meetings. KRMC CEO commits to continuing patient visitation

KINGMAN – Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) CEO, Will McConnell, has expressed a commitment to continue allowing visitation for hospitalized patients – despite the surge of COVID-19 cases in our community. During the COVID lockdown last spring, KRMC closed to all visitors. In August, the hospital resumed a limited visitation policy with specific safety protocols. Garibaldi graciousness helps those in need

KINGMAN – Luigi Garibaldi has been at it for years. Head chef and owner of Garibaldi’s restaurant on Andy Devine Avenue was joined by his small staff to cook and serve Christmas Eve meals to the homeless and needy Thursday. KRMC completes Phase One for ED

KINGMAN – Phase one of the emergency department expansion project has been completed at Kingman Regional Medical Center. The city issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for that portion of the project about mid-December. Project manager Randy Cook says expected state health care regulatory approvals should see the Stockton Hill Road access to the hospital reopen in February. Cook said the smaller scale phase two emergency department project should be completed by early spring.
