Local organization working to bring human trafficking awareness

Futures Without Fear, the Mohave County Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence Coalition, is a newly formed multi-disciplinary coalition to build capacity, raise awareness and provide services to minor victims of human trafficking and domestic violence. Murray charged with torching unoccupied commercial building

KINGMAN – Local authorities report a Kingman man admitted setting fire to a vacant commercial building on Northern Avenue. Joshua Murray, 30, was arrested after Monday’s 11:00 a.m. fire in the 2800 block of Northern Avenue. Mohave County sheriff’s office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said Murray had previously been trespassed from the same property. He was booked into jail on an arson charge. Chief Jake Rhoades said Kingman and Northern Arizona Consolidated fire district personnel put out the fire, with operational support from the Pinion Pine and Golden Valley Fire Districts.
