Dear Editor, On Saturday, Oct. 2 I had to go to the hospital emergency room. The prior Tuesday I had an unusual leg spasm from my left thigh to my groin area. I’ve had pulled muscles from sports off and on and thought it was from exercise or just sitting weird in my recliner. By later Wednesday, I noticed an occasional cough that felt strange. On Thursday, I called my family doctor’s office and reported I was coughing occasionally and didn’t feel right. Dear Editor, A lot of people today think it is not right to stop people from doing whatever they want to do. Let them make mistakes, let them suffer, let them die. But caring people want to do what they can to prevent misery, disease, and death. Throughout history, this whole loving approach to social prevention has been called rule of law. Dear Editor, Mr. Dickson, you missed my points, which were as follows: Anyone who believes that your Socialist government is going to relegate additional taxes to folks making $400k or more IS drinking the Blue Koolaid. Ditto for anyone who can justify the level of surveillance said government wants us to believe benefits us all. 85,000 new IRS agents? Right! I’ll bet they will all wear brown shirts and pass out yellow stars. Just like your pal Social Joe wants to combat Covid. Again, all for the benefit of our fellow man. LOL. At least FDR knew where to find…

On Nov. 17, 2021, Bertrand Desrosiers of Kingman, AZ passed away. He was 90 years old. Bertrand was born in Squatec, Quebec, Canada on September 13, 1931. The family contact is his son, Daniel Desrosiers. A service will be held at a later date at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home. Arrangements were made by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home in Kingman, AZ.
