Adkins receives prison sentence after violating probation conditions

A Bullhead City man was sentenced to prison Wednesday after admitting he committed new crimes constituting violation of his probation for a prior armed robbery conviction. Bradley Richard Adkins, 22, was placed on five year’s probation for his involvement in a March, 2017 home invasion at a residence on Anna Circle. Adkins and co-defendant Cory Edward Cummings, 20, accepted plea agreements for entering the home in an attempt to sell an iPad. Bullhead City Police said Adkins pepper-sprayed the victim when he refused to buy the device, thinking it had been stolen. Police and prosecutors said Cummings stole the victim’s…

The Mohave County Department of Risk and Emergency Management will be offering new training sessions in March for individuals interested in becoming volunteers under the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program. CERT is a national program under the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Citizen Corps Council.
