LAKE HAVASU CITY – Police in Lake Havasu City have released the name of the local resident fatally injured in a single vehicle traffic accident on New Year’s Eve. The victim is identified as Jeffery Azar, 70.

The vehicle driven by Azar reportedly left the roadway in the 2200 block of Freemont Dr. at about 11:18 a.m. on Dec. 31, according to Sergeant Kyle Ridgway. He said Azar was pronounced dead on scene.
