Lake Havasu City Police Department hosts open house recruitment

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Interested in a career as a police officer? Join the Lake Havasu City Police Department at their upcoming open house recruitment event on Saturday, January 18, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Western Arizona Law Enforcement Training Academy, 1801 Highway 95.

The event offers the opportunity to meet with local police officers, learn about the day-to-day responsibilities of the job, get an overview of the police department’s training program and the police academy, see a demonstration of the Police Officer Physical Abilities Test, and explore specialty unit opportunities. Recruitment staff will be on hand to answer questions about the application and hiring process and provide information on the qualifications and requirements for becoming a Lake Havasu City Police Officer.
