Irelyn Brady of Lake Havasu City was named to The University of Alabama Deans List for spring semester 2024.
A total of 13,103 students enrolled during Spring Semester 2024 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s). PHOENIX – Bettors in Arizona wagered approximately $656.3 million on sports in April of 2024, according to a new report by the Arizona Department of Gaming. This represents an approximate 22.5% increase when compared to April of 2023.

MOHAVE COUNTY – County Public Health has been notified of potential harm from “Diamond Shruumz” microdosing chocolates.  Individuals who consumed Diamond Shruumz-brand products reported a range of severe symptoms, including seizures, central nervous system depression (e.g., loss of consciousness, confusion, sleepiness), agitation, abnormal heart rates, hypertension or hypotension, and nausea and vomiting.

Investigation and damage assessments continue after Las Vegas Boat Harbor fire? 

BOULDER CITY, Nev. – Lake Mead National Recreation Area officials continue to investigate the fire that broke out early Sunday morning at the Las Vegas Boat Harbor. The fire damaged or destroyed several boats, as well as led to the closure of “I” and “R” docks at the marina where the fire took place.
Moving forward, park officials will work with agency partners to assess damage caused by the fire and address future cleanup, repair, and other salvage actions. This process is expected to continue for a minimum of several weeks.
