LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. – Entering a home without permission and pointing an airsoft rifle at two people results in a two-year prison term for a Lake Havasu City man. The punishment that Judge Ryan Esplin imposed Nov. 3 for Carlos Placito-Becerra was stipulated in a plea agreement.

Placito-Becerra is convicted of two counts of disorderly conduct involving a weapon.

Placito-Becerra admitted that he entered a residence in the 2600 block of McCulloch Boulevard on May 24 to pick up his mother, who had been drinking, and that he tried to collect a debt from another man in the home.

Deputy Mohave County Attorney Phillip Delgado said the defendant recklessly handled the weapon that very much resembles an AR-15 during the confrontation. No one was injured.
