Community invited to ribbon cutting for new Site Six fishing dock in Havasu

LAKE HAVASU CITY — Lake Havasu City invites residents and visitors to celebrate the continued enhancements at one of the community’s most beloved waterfront destinations with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Site Six Fishing Dock on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The ceremony takes place at Site Six, 591 Beachcomber Boulevard, in partnership with the Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors.

The new fishing dock represents the latest phase of improvements at Site Six, building on the City’s ongoing commitment to enhancing safety, accessibility, and the overall experience for those who enjoy boating and fishing along the shoreline. Site Six serves as a vital resource for residents and visitors alike.

Lake Havasu City appreciates the Mohave County Board of Supervisors and former District 3 Supervisor Buster Johnson for allocating $1.6 million to replace the Site Six Launch Ramp. This investment supports the continued improvement of an important community asset and helps ensure the facility remains safe, accessible, and functional for the many residents and visitors who rely on it.

In addition to the new fishing dock, Site Six offers a handicapped-accessible fishing pier, a fish-cleaning station, restrooms, a small beach area, and a picnic area with BBQ amenities, making it an ideal destination for a day on the water or for relaxing by the lake.
