Candace Devine & Ponderosa Grove to perform at Andy Devine Awards on Saturday

KINGMAN, Ariz. – Candace Devine and her band, Ponderosa Grove, will be performing Saturday, October 3 at the Andy Devine Awards in the Beale Street Theater.

She said they perform 70s rock ‘n roll genre of music.

“We’ve been compared to Fleetwood Mac,” Devine said. “There’s lots of harmony.”

She has been performing professionally right out of college, as a solo artist, but with the band since 2021. However, she said it would be her first time performing at the Andy Devine Awards.

“We’ve been opening up all over the U.S., playing a lot of cities, for a band called Tedeschi and Trucks who is comprised of Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks.

“I’m excited to come to Kingman,” Devine said. “For me, it’s an honor and joy to come and be part of my great-uncle’s celebration, in honor of his memory.”

Great-niece to Andy Devine, Candace Devine and her band, Ponderosa Grove, will be performing Saturday October 3 at the Andy Devine Awards in honor of her great-uncle.
